With Perodua ViVA acts like a Perodua Kelisa and Perodua Kancil replacement model, and after posting an article about Perodua Kembara replacement model, MyPerodua was once again called by a member to write something about the remaining of the Perodua family replacement model.
This time, MyPerodua will discuss with you regarding Perodua Kenari Replacement Model. Eventhough Perodua didn't say anything about such story, however we at MyPerodua did some homework to provide the world with some information about Perodua Kenari Replacement Model.
As we all know, Perodua Kenari was based on Daihatsu Move. Everybody knows that, and people start scraping away their Kenari emblem and put a Daihatsu Move emblem instead. It doesn't mean that they're not proud to drive a Malaysian car, but I would say.. that is just a personal preference.
MyPerodua has done some homework and found out that Perodua would again share their chassis with Daihatsu and Toyota. Looking at the design of Kenari, I would say that Perodua Kenari replacement model would share chassis with Daihatsu Move and Toyota Ractis.
Since Perodua usually take the more sportier look for its base model, I would say that Perodua Kenari would look more like Toyota Ractis, which is more sporty and sleeker. (Daihatsu Move looks a little bit boxy and slow). Anyway, here are the pictures of Perodua Kenari Replacement Model.

Sleek and sporty right? I hate to say this, but Toyota seems to be making prettier and prettier designs by time. (or maybe they purposely make a dull design earlier so that it looks sportier by time). Hmm... mind teasing... mind teasing...

Mustahil lah Perodua nak kuarkan model berasaskan Toyota Ractis ni...kalo nak dikutkan, semua model Perodua diasaskan dr model-model Daihatsu. Utk shared model diantara Daihatsu & Toyota, Daihatsu akan war-war kan terlebih dahulu kete keluaran mereka berbanding Toyota...contohnya Daihatsu Boon/Toyota Passo atau Daihatsu Bego/Toyota Rush. Tetapi Toyota Ractis ni, Toyota aje yg ader.Kalo Perodua nak kuarkan Kenari replacement model, mesti ia berasaskan kpd model Daihatsu Move terdahulu (bukan Move 2007 yerrr...) sbb saya pernah melihat prototype Kenari akan datang...berasaskan kpd Daihatsu Move terdahulu...semasa survey kete 2005 yg diadakan di PWTC.

Dr pada survey yg dilakukan itu...lampu depan Kenari baru ni...seakan lampu myvi...cuma mentol signal (amber color) telah ditukarkan kpd jenis LED. Dashboard pula mirip kpd Daihatsu YRV...

Indeed, very nice looking car, but since VIVA just shown its face to Malaysia recently, just estimate how long will it be to come out this model? another 2 years? maybe or maybe more. but when this model come's in, i think i'll say good bye to my VIVA.. and this is my new "wife"!! hehe

i don't think that this will be postphoned that long, coz viva and kenari market aren't the same. viva covers the low budget ones (expecially students), while kenari focus on the working women and/or easy drivers one.. I think they might take a 1 year interval between those two models.

heard P2 oso bring in 2 new Vios 2007 for R&D ( Toyota Belta..aka Yaris Sedan)...
Will P2 gonna manufactured Vios 2007 for Toyota...Heard new Vios will be 20k cheaper than the current model...hihi...
Well Avanza 1.5 is 70k ++, Then Vios 2007 (by P2)will be 60k ++...make sense rite??

someone out there said that myperodua is telling lies about toyota ractis to be kenari replacement.. and saying that daihatsu move should be the replacement. what he don't know is that toyota ractis and current daihatsu move is using the same chassis!! hehe.. too bad i forgot their URL. or not we can always hentam them kau kau punyaaa..
