by myprotwo on May 21, 2007, 10:40 AMEventhough the heat of Perodua's latest model, Perodua Viva is still hot on the web, MyPerodua has got some sneak peak for you Perodua fans out there. MyPerodua has managed to got info regarding 'Kembara Replacement Model'. Yes, Kembara will be replaced with a later version and its surely looks so smart.
As you would have known, Perodua always shares its cars' platforms with Daihatsu and Toyota. In this new model, Perodua will share the chasis with Toyota Rush and Daihatsu Be-Go. Toyota Rush is the replacement model for Toyota Camy, which is the one that is the same as Perodua Kembara previous model.
So we could expect Perodua would change it's Kembara lineup name too. Since Perodua latest interest in names contain the letter V (Myvi & Viva), MyPerodua thinks that Kembara Replacement Model might also contain the letter V in it's name. Here are some words that contains the letter V. We hope that Perodua would jump in here and pick the name of the Kembara replacement here.
- Victory --maybe
- Vroom --maybe
- Vision --maybe
- Vast --maybe
- Volume --unlikely
- Vanguard --maybe
- WaVe --maybe
- HoVer --maybe
- LoVe --too femine
- Vow --unlikely
- Vulgar --off course not
- EVer --naaa
- OVer --naaa
Followings are Toyota Rush pictures, we could expect the Perodua Kembara Replacement Model would be something like this...

Smart eih?? We told you so.. Pricing? MyPerodua would estimate that it would be around RM60~80k. Dimension? slightly bigger that current Kembara, but definitely better interior and exterior.

I'm quite sure that this ride wouldn't cost us up till RM100k. If they do so, people better save some more money for a Rexton.. and save summore for a CRV or even a RAV4!

The ideal price for this model should be around 50K - 60K. With next year 2008 AFTA & no more NAP applied, all car price should drop a a bit. - just my 2cents.

It doesn't matter whether perodua takes daihatsu or toyota model, coz at the end of the day.. toyota would get the benefit. btw, toyota rush and daihatsu be-go design aren't that different right??
