I am an auto locksmith in the UK and my customer lost both his remote and non remote keys. I was not aware that there is a factory fitted alarm on the car so I removed the immobiliser box and programmed 2 new non remote keys for the customer. Now when I unlock the door the alarm goes off, if the door is open and I turn the ignition on the alarm goes off.

The customer does not want a remote key so is there an alarm reset button on this car so I can reset or switch the alarm off so the customer can use his car without the expense of replacing the ECU/immobiliser box and locks?

Thanks in advance.

I am a bona fide auto locksmith and my website is sosautolocks.co.uk if you want to check that this is a genuine request for assistance.

Problem solved, there is NO alarm reset button on this vehicle.  There is a way to disable the arm system but for obvious reasons I will not make it public on here.
