My Angel, My Life....

« on: May 25, 2007, 04:20 PM »

Hi everyone!!

I've got my VIVA 1.0 premium today! Grin but I've got some build up quality issue from this car when I took it Undecided , it is notice by the salesman when deliver to me, lucky he been honors to me. current problem is:

1. the steering, the car doesn't have any problem with the alignment, but the steering wasn't in the correction position when driving straight, slightly bias to right. i don't dare to fix myself, worry airbag pop.

2. The engine vibrate somehow is very noticeable even when in "N", the dashboard was shaking like earthquake.. and the RPM is always stick to 1K or sometimes more, salesman says it need to be tune after 1K service.

So, as usual, the 1st batch is the white rat, and I'm one of them...  Cry , will they(P2) consider to have a brief check before sending to salesman to deliver?

and I notice there are few mounting holes for the mud guard, but it doesn't "come with" for the premium version, is it too expensive? Savvy have it? without the mud guard, the holes will be very ugly and you can see trough the behind of the real bumper... silly isn't it..  Cheesy

And they leave a space above the number plate of the 5th door(boot), currently using the key or a lifter in front to open the door, suspect the space is for the trigger of the boot, but since they don't plan to put 1, might as well put a plastic to it cover-up.

Another one, this car based modal i think do come with adjustable steering height, i notice there's a curve space below the steering where my Nissan Sentra use to adjust it, and they left it empty Huh lucky is not a big hole.

So, currently, thats all i've discover from VIVA 1.0 premium (A) in Day 1, but hopefully thats all.

Impact- minimal
This one should be able to be fix by Perodua support center.

Salesman said is true,  please do a list of complaint especially on the first 1k service time.

try go to car hardware shop for info, maybe they have already some parts for viva already. This what normally happen the supplier always got insider info of what to manufacture and sell

Sure i'll Taruk kau kau.. hey, many ppl think this is overprice car, and me too!!

my wife's likes it and only the premium one, l love my wife, and she driver's it , so i must love it (if not wife marah  Grin), but indeed is a very fun and passion looking car,i love it from the 1st look too, compare to Savvy(my point of view) is way better in terms of quality and service. but such a little bit of thing is easy to notice, isn't it?

So this is the way to let accessary shop dig more from us, but not all ppl like aftermarket parts, believe me, they will somehow know bout this misstake or bad comment later, you will see the mud guard is attached again. but personally think they just wanna save cost, would you just make holes for nothing? coz it come from the blue print.

Bad comment is sometimes hard to accept, and i used to pick small little defect, but improvement is form there. Agree??!! Wink

Totally agree, a big company should listen to their customer complain. Not the unreasonable, but base on facts.

In the old days maybe Malaysian / users tend to accept what they receive now the system change. Manufactures need to be flexible and listen to customer.

Innovation counts. Grin

People grow smarter, compare to old time, the degree holder is a gold miner for a company hard to find, not because people from old days dumb, is because of economy, voice from rakyat is nothing because control by many factor, do you had enough $$ to but Toyata, if no, no choice, P1 then. then P1 says, i sell u cheap, what u expect??!! many people been influence  that kind of thinking, so accept lo... pity rakyat those days.

Thats why Toyata become the leader of Automobil industrial, they watch their back often and most of all, they listen carefully from user and apply as necessary to improve.

but in Malaysia, i'll reserve some of this in any automobil industrial, expecially 1st local brand, the attitude of some workers is kindda different, just like chinese word, "eat full, then sell pao"  吃饱卖包 , don't care la, i earn enough just for my living, why need to work hard?!

although P2 had adopted some of the foreign management style, but u expect every worker to perform well is very challenging, but still a thumb up from me for MyVi, VIVA, Kenari, and kelisa..

So for all car owner, please DO COMPLAIN for resonable, customer's always right!! Wink

for sure, Aivee, Innovation DO Counts..

hahah your right projason. In the world we can see some changes where big big player in automotive industry try to reach out to their customers.

on about P1, they are struggling now. true or not the mergers / buyout maybe the best thing that could happen to them. for p2 what i heard that they have constant visit by the japanese counter part so the "slag" are kept at the minimum.

Grin .. yes PLEASE DO COMPLAIN..

Ok, for the engine vibrate like earthquake problem, somehow is gone  Huh for the 3th day driving, don't know why but still need to tell P2 SC bout this.

But the FC is no soo good i think, still monitoring, but currently, when i fill with full tank and drive about 50KM (60% hiway, 40% City), the fuel indicator drop 2 bar, total about 10 bar if not mistaken, if this is the real case, then full tank will be serving bout 250 to 300KM MAX?? then will be 9 or 10 KM per liter!!! waa... expensive then my sentra a lot more...   Shocked but can't relay on the fuel indicator too much, the machanism inside will not show perfect mesurement Grin

so i'll keep the REAL FC bout VIVA update, and report average of 2 full tank KM per liter and driving condition, please gimme 2 to 3 weeks, coz this car is for short distance, and any VIVA owner, please do help to report this, not for me, but to comfort ppl who plan to own one and as a compare to existing owner if having FC problem. wait.. thats me.. hehe.. Tongue

Smiley , nice observation
For the fuel gauge indicator, need to remember most car fuel tank is a lot bigger in shape at the bottom. You should have a good idea of the FC by 2-3 weeks.

Thanks myprotwo, but technology now is way advance, they already consider bout this fuel tank design issue, been told by a friend of mine work in automobil industry, the digital mesurement will calculate the % of fuel remain in the tank based on the size and shape, so bottom wider tank is not an issue anymore, not like we usually seen in the factory fuel tank coz the tank they use is symmetric. The friend of mine work in Australia and is high class toy Grin not sure the info is reliable or not. but no harm, could be.. if in a luxury car, but not is this economical vehicle i think.

So, again, please help report the FC. one man show will not give any average result.. thanks

I've sit in a Viva recently ( as a passanger) . ( 5 Big-size people in a Viva)
1. Speed / pickup is noticable good for a small car.
2. Climbing up a is ok ( even for an auto gear)
Other that that finishing is quite OK. But one thing i feel during the late braking.. mcm tak mkn jer hehe./ some sort of ABS system is working.

Aivee mean premium 1000cc (since u said ABS syst is working)?
Have they solve the tail gate alarm issue d? What will i expect to get if I go to P2 brach or dealer now?
Plan to buy one std 1000cc but still not yet make any move bcoz still not satisfy with the price & "unsolve issue". Sigh~
