Viva vs Atos
«
on:
May 24, 2007, 01:00 PM »
I intent of buying either of this model to replace my 10 years old
kancil. The car meant for my wife as she only dare to drive small car and
auto trans only although I will use it a lot (save minyak maa).
Comparing between these two cars, from my observation (Atos GLA vs VIVA
1.0 Premium),
1. Price - Not much difference. Cheaper to buy '06 Atos. '07 Atos (still
no difference) very near price to Viva)
2. Safety - P2 got ABS, EBD and airbag. Atos got none. But one thing,
Atos got solid body compare to Viva, macam tin milo.
3. Exterior - Atos got elegant body but boring, Viva like... son of Avanza
4. Interior - Viva better presentable (up to date), but looks fragile.
Better equipment such as electric mirror both adjust and fold, nice dash,
better seat adjustment and better legrom. Atos boring but solid looking,
Pioneer radio CD, more spaces to put your things etc. The cushion also
feels more durable and also double folding seats (good if going to IKEA).
But no RPM meter.
5. Engine - Viva have better performance engine but rough at high RPM
(Drive for 15 min only). Atos smoother but lack of power and fuel a
little bit bad (used Atos 1.1 for 1 month, pinjam from friend). Viva
donno of FC but usually P2 good consumption. Gearbox, Atos more smooth.
6. Stability - Atos very stable at high speed (110 to 130 km/h) but very
slow going there.
7. Resale value - Atos quite teruk but don't care coz I only sell my ride
after finished finance repayment (after 7 years).
8. Maintenance - Atos got simple engine, DIY also can. Donno bout Viva
9. Others - Atos overall macam mother's car. Viva more trendy & sporty
and got a lot of enhancement product to choose (based on MYVI)
10. Conclusion - Damn susah to make decision. Wish I'm a lot richer than
now.
HELP ME..........PLeasezzz

After seeing the car and based on my personal experience, Perodua Viva is
over priced. This car is obsolutely over value and the price is obviously
too high for small car section.
I am not bias in my comment as I own Perodua cars too.
Cheers !

not only fuel sucker, but also sluggy compare to VIVA, no cam profile, but now very cheap for 1.0(A) full spec about 32K !!! saw the banner on dealer, i donno full spec what they have, but Atos to me is nothing widther then VIVA. price wise, Atos win.
and now VIVA got RM2000 discount!!!
darn i buy the 1st batch yet only RM500 discount, looks like VIVA hard to sell so discount become the bargain.

I think I will choose Viva but will wait for a few more months.
Since u still have ur 10yrs old kancil to keep u moving, there should be ok to wait for a better timing
I am sure the Viva price will drop to reasonable rather than now overprice...
I am seeing more & more new Viva "stored" at open air out there by dealers. Seems like supply more than demand now..

is there any special notes for the merdeka sale? because last time, P1 made a merdeka sale, but you must choose between blue, white, yellow or red colored (jalur gemilang colors) cars only.
